Yesterday I purchased a wireless router and notebook card at best buy. Today they started offering a mail in rebate for both of them. Would I be able to go in with my receipt and someway get the rebates(like a pricematch type thing). Or would I have to take everything back and return and rebuy it?

You'd have to do a return, and then a re-purchase. They won't give you any trouble.

EDIT: you might be able to just bring back the receipt. Thats what I did. They "returned" the items, and then reprinted the receipt.

Go over to customer service and explain the situation. If things look favourable, try to have them directly refund the amount from the rebate to you in cash. Otherwise do a quick return/repurchase. You should be able to do either using just the receipt.

well if you install it, then go and they need the product, and you return it and get the same thing, i don't think that would really cause any hardware problems or anything...

Wouldnt they charge a restocking fee? I could always buy new ones then return them later with the old reciept and keep the new one

Listen. Do exactly this. Bring your receipt to Customer Service. Tell them you bought these items yesterday, and there is a rebate on them today. They will take care of it for you.
