Looks like no one will have trouble finding a wii...provided nintendo follows through with that

Looks like about 34 or so PS3's(combined) per store

Many times more Wii's/store

I do wonder about the effect that shortages has on consumers however...seems to me that parents assume that the harder one to get is always because it is more popular...not that it just doesn't have as many out there.

Best Buy in Princeton, NJ is getting 10 20GB consoles, and 24 60GB consoles. We're getting 160+ of the Wii ;).

If the Target and Best Buy in Bridgewater are both sold out of Wiis in the morning, maybe I'll come visit you. ;)

Don't count on that though.

I'd probably recognize you. Just don't break any TV wall mounts.

Yeah, pretty much. I pre-ordered one from Amazon, but I'm going to see if I can get one at Target anyway. Then hopefully I can convince my brother he wants one for Christmas :)

i think this geneartion of parents will know about nintendo. and well...ps3 breaks the bank for many ..so that makes the decision right there. and u know kids, they are smart enough to ask for the one they think they'll most likely viably get. u know.. pretty please.. its so cheap compared to ps3 etc.. its not expensive!

Heck no lol. I asked for a N64 back in the day...not that it was that expensive...but it was hard to find. And I don't think at that point I had too much of a grasp over how much money they were...maybe I did...bah I don't know!

EDIT: on second thought...that was 6th grade-ish...so I had to have a concept of how much it cost...so maybe you are right. I have seen some interesting things working retail in the past however. Parents bringing in their child's xmas list with things such as "Cell phone" and "Rabbit" listed...

I'm still trying to figure out if it'll be worth waiting at the Best Buy in Ann Arbor, since they're supposed to be one of the midnight-opening stores. hmph.

That seems unrealistic to me...but I am just speculating
