Best Buy & Office Depot Ad Scans

It's an winrar self-extracting file. Use winrar or 7-zip to open it as an archive, if you don't want to take the risk of running the exe file.

hmm... why .exe?? that raises a red flag. Anyway, appreciate your effort.

I agree, I think .zip would have been a better choice.

At least they're clean.

22inch Acer LCD Widescreen for $199.99 is pretty damn good. $249.99 - 50 MIR. Still not to bad. This is on the Office Depot scans.

I made them self-extracting exe's -- virus free, not everyone has winzip/winrar installed. Have no plans to spread viruses on anandtech.

Nearly everyone can deal with standard Zip files. It has been built into Windows since Millenium Edition. Also, IIRC I was using it on the Debian boxes at school, though I don't know if it's in there standard (but if you're using Linux I'm sure compressed files are not gonna slow you down). Don't know about OS-X.

IRC OSX handles .zip no problem.

They're RAR files. If it makes you feel better, rename the extension to .RAR, and you'll be able to preview the PDF's using WinRAR. 🙂

Not sure if it's a good deal, but it has the Canon EOS 40D and 28-135 lens for 1499.99, and a package deal that includes the 70-300 lens for 1999.98.

You mean there's going to be rebate larger than the current $50 mail-in (and $50 instant savings), making this lower than $199.99?
I, too, am curious as to whether this is a good monitor or not...the price is definitely right!
