have they always matched online prices? I didnt think they did but they did this weekend. My dad was looking for a new tv and found an online price that was $800 less than BB. He went to BB with the ad and they matched it with no questions, gripes or anything. The mgr said they were glad to have his business and will never turn away a customer. props to BB.

Or maybe he fit their profile for "OOH Customer will probably come back tomorrow for a dvd player, speakers, and cables!!" Maybe not. :shrugs;

I think that manager was very confused. The policy is supposed to be "Screw your business, we will always turn away customers trying to get a better deal".

Pleae let me know what store it was at so I can have that manager fired. He's costing us money and screwing our bottom line. 😉

could this be a joke thread?

best buy policy states they will not match online prices from other stores. but they will match whatever is posted on their official website.

the best buy in charlotte, nc

Everytime i pricematch at Best Buy, I always get some dumb excuse. The last thing i tried to PM was a wireless mouse. It was cheaper at microcenter, so I went to Best Buy and they said that Microcenter was not a local retailer. WTF? Last time I saw, Boston and Cambridge were pretty close.
