in october of last year, i pre-ordered a xbox "package" (xbox, 2 controller, dvd remote, three games) and then also started an ebay auction for said item when I got shipping confirmation in the beg. of november. two days after shipping confirmation i get a backorder email about something being backordered. then i finally get a package from best buy, but all it had was the xbox, go figure? then i get another email saying everything else was cancelled. i was s**t out of luck. my auction had already ended and I was screwd. i spend countless hours talking to and emailing bestbuy.com csrs, and all they could do is say we are sorry. well now fast forward five months, (nov-->april), there is a charge on my credit card for 109.99. i call them and they tell me it was for an incomplete order back in november. i was like that was five months ago and now you charge me. once again all they could do is apologize. i tried looking at my online bill from bankofamerica but it doesn't go that far. what can i do?

sorry about the length, I am really pissed off at them. since then i have not gone/bought/browsed at bestbuy or bestsuck.com.

what can I do?

Have you tried calling your CC company to get the records?

Are you saying that they just randomly charged you, or that they are now charging you and sending you the merchandise?

So they sent you the Xbox in November, but didn't charge you until now - and you're upset? At least you got to keep your money for five extra months. Surely you would agree you owe the money, right?

And I have to agree with the earlier comment about not selling things you don't have. If you are going to try and make a quick buck, you have to be prepared to accept when things don't go as planned.

You had chosen... poorly.

There are records out there, take the time to look for em. Work with and not against em. They're not all blessed with knowledge of the particulars of your issue and shouldn't be judged on what they're not keen too.

This is a relatively simple misunderstanding and one that can be worked out. The part about you trying to make a quick buck on ebay is another issue entirely.
