How about ordering some free-after-rebate stuff? That way we convert the certificates to CASH, plus get some free stuff in the process. Here is the only free-after-rebate stuff I have identified so far:

Guys, there is NO way that this card is a $99 card. If it was, BB would be selling it for ~ $150. No B&M could mark something up that much, and expect to sell any. All the online guys would be selling em at a bit over cost, and try to make money by volume. If you want to know what is being paid for a card, just take about 5% off of the online vendors prices.

You can use the $30 coupon to buy a gift certificate. Excellent news for BB employees who can now use the $30 with their discount.

The supposed $99 cost on the card is probably for the MX version. Most Best Buy computer stuff is only marked up 30%.

Actually if you read what john carmack said carefully he said dont buy the low end geforce4 card because it will perform badly. THE LOW END CARD, the geforce4 M-X. I'm no nvidia fanboy but if you take a look at anantech toms hardware and other sites which have benchmarked it, the high end geforce4, though nothing revolutionary, is certainly not a step backwards in performance.

If you have Blue, you'll get atleast another $50 from AE in 2 months (price is now $150, but will be less in 60 days, probably a good bit less since the gf4 is out now),

means total end price is $90 if you price match with blue now

It'll probably a lot less than $90 (my guess is $65-70) in 2 months

Just for the verification, can someone confirm that American Express doesnt take away from the price matching if you use digital coupons, because they have no way of rating them. The $30 coupon is showing up as a credit anyways, so its my understanding they wont give you any problems and match the price at the listed $199

My guess is that BB had the GF2MX mixed up with the TI4600, they probably get the GF4MX for $100, theres just no way they get the TI4600 for that much.

And ask yourself this, if the wholesale on the TI4600 is really $100, then why isnt there online stores that have the typical cut rate prices, making the TI4600 around $129.99 online (price sound familiar?) but instead they're looking to charge about $300-400

hey, FPSguy, that's always a good idea; however your product link is for flight simulator (the 1st one, european theatre), while the rebate link is for fs-2 (pacific theatre). you had me going, as i'd love to get the 1st one free after rebate, but i don't think you can. and thanks for staying on topic!

That screen is a best buy store SKUI screen. That's not the place where it lists company cost. That MFG cost is a whole different thing. To see the actual screen that lists company cost, you need a supervisor or manager access, and it's under a different code, not SKUI.

Pretty hot, IMHO, if you need one, or want to Fleabay it.

For those of you concerned, a good friend of mine who is a lawyer said that use of the coupon cannot preclude you from collecting any other damages which could be proven. Note that there are no such caveats in the e-mail itself - i.e. no language saying that your use of this coupon prevents you from suing Best Buy, etc.
You can use it safely, and in the unlikely event that there is any additional consideration, settlement, etc., you'll be fine.

I managed to get the system to let me buy a GC no problem around 12:30 ET. We'll see though. I distinctly remember having the occasional problem ordering from our friends at BB. Like always, I'll believe it when I see it.;)
