A couple of really good films in that 3 for $20. If I didn't already have "A River Runs Through It" and "Legends of the Fall", I'd use that deal to get them and "A League of Their Own".

Are you sure it's not 2 for $20 or 3 for $30?

Best Buy has been doing these deals on certain of their $15 DVD's
for a few weeks now, but I haven't seen them drop their $15 DVD's this much.

There is a rumor at chubbywallet that Target will have the Miyazaki movies for $14.44 or $14.99 (not sure which). Can anyone confirm this?

Also, there is a $3 off disney movies coupon in April issues of: parents, better homes and gardens, people, and woman's day
the coupon should work since all the Miyazaki movies are releaed via disney

I got my sunday inserts and it makes no mention of the 3 for $20 deal. Does anyone else see this?

Those aren't their $15 DVDs, anyway. Those are all $9.99 regularly, as far as I can see. And if they aren't at Best Buy, they sure are elsewhere.

It's 3 for $20 at Best But in my inset as well (San Diego). They also have the Miyaziki deal (buy 3 get Mononoke free). The 50 Cent DVD/CD the New Breed, being released on Tuesday, will be $10.99 also! Friggin' hot for all the wankstas out there!

This is for So Cal and So Nevada... Apparently they aren't $14.99... but there's a large $14.99 price over a movie close by that makes it look like all the movies are $14.99. The actual retail of $19.99 is listed underneath tho... and no free Mononoke!

You can check out the local deals off of here
Just click on the region and look under the entertainment section.

BB by me was out of everything except Spirited Away even though when the girl checked for me on the computer, they had 30 of them in stock of the others. Probably either on hold or pickup.

Tried two Best Buys, one was sold out of Spirited Away (but had lots of everything else), the other was out of Princess Mononoke (which I already have, but it's the principle, dammit!). Fortunately, I was able to get a raincheck at the second store.

I also saw that some (but not all) copies of Kiki's Delivery Service had a coupon for $4 off if you bought two out of the new releases (Spirited Away, Kiki's, Castle in the Sky), which meant that you could potentially get all four films for ~ $54 + tax. No wonder they were selling like crazy.

Oh yeah! Plus Alternate Angles for the Japanese track :D.

But personally, I'm hoping they have Miramax release a proper 2-disc release with some extras for Mononoke Hime.

If you are going to get the Miyazaki DVD's don't forget to try and use the $3 off coupons that can be found in the April Better Homes and Garden, Womens Day, Parenting and the current issue of People magazine (I've heard it's alo in the current TV Guide). Use one coupon for each DVD (Spirited Away, Kiki and Castle in the Sky) to get an extra $9 off plus the free Mononoke.

Some people have been able to do this....others got static that you could only do one or the other (free DVD or use coupons but not both). For me they were out of PM so they gave me a raincheck so as long as I bring in a receipt with all the other 3 on it I'll get PM free. I used the coupons when I bought the 3 so I hope I don't have a problem when I come to get the free DVD.

So this is a YMMV type thing. Also...I didn't have any of those magazines so I visited the local Library :) The coupon is on the inside flap of the front cover of all of these.

Spirited Away is sold out in the Raleigh store and Castle in the Sky is sold out in the Cary store. Cary store will let you take a raincheck, but the one in Raleigh, which happens to be much closer to my apartment, does not. The Raleigh store was supposed to get more copies today but they didn't. I'll try again tomorrow. :(
