Best Buy clearance

Stopped in to pick up GTA III @ Duncunville TX, noticed a couple of items on clearance - TDK 40x12x48 for $17.99, and Belkin Ultra ATA/PCI 133 Controller (RAID) for $34.99. Didn't notice these items in the Arlington store so I'm sure it will vary from store to store...

no rebate required - $17.99 out the door. of course this is located 2 aisles away from the other cd burners. they had 3 brands on clearance - 1 @$79, 1@$69, and the TDK @$17. there is still at least 1 left - I don't even know what to do with the one I bought so I figured I'd leave one for some lucky person😀

Is the controller the maxtor brand one? I think the maxtor one can be had on ebay for like $10-25 shipped depending on auction and stuff... just thought i'd let ya know I think my friend bought one a few weeks ago for around $18 shipped or so... If its the same brand might wanna return and get $35 back and buy off ebay, just a suggestion... not a thread crap heh... Nice price on that TDK .. I don't have time at all on monday but i'll check local best buy on tuesday here in Levittown, PA.

the controller is not Maxtor, but I believe it is Silicon Image (or something like that). It's not just a PCI controller, but it is a Raid controller also (although it doesn't say it on the box). My 2 WD 80 gig SE's are very happy now! 😀 RAID
It doesn't mention RAID anywhere in the description, but if you look closely at the card itslef you can see RAID listed. There is also a RAID booklet included...

Didn't get in on these deals but did luck out over the weekend @ BB. Got a Panasonic digital camcorder model# pv-dc152 for $325(reg $549). Also got the Braun Syncro System electric shaver model # 7526 for $44.99(reg $139). These items are NIB but were written up as open box. As I understand it they are considered "at risk" meaning clearance. As always YMMV but you might check your local BB if interested.
