Best Buy/Cingular/Motorola V600+BT Headset

Right now, Best buy has a really good deal going on the new motorola v600 phone.

$249 with 1 year contract
-$100 Mail in Phone Rebate
-$75 Mail in Service Credit Rebate
Free Motorola Bluetooth headset ($100 value)

There is also currently a $50 rebate from cingular.com on this phone, that may or
may not conflict with the BB rebates (it changed from when I bought the phone a week
ago, and it did not conflict at that time.)

This is a really, really good deal on one of the best new phones out there...

The Cingular.com rebate can only be used for the website, telesales, authorized agent stores or Cingular corporate stores.
The national retail channel has a different set of rebates.

not really. you can dowwnload the rebate off their website and fill it out but they do require an original reciept and the upc off the v600 packaging.

and if you don't get the 1-year plan it costs $450 through best buy and $400 through your local cingular store (if they offer it, some regions don't have it yet)

i called sacramento best buy and the deal is going on. the only thing is that the sales guy mentioned the $100 rebate, but didnt say anything about the $75 rebate. oh yeah and he said its going until saturday

Are you talking about the Arden store BB?
Begin rant... IF so, don't listen to their wireless department for a minute. I had their in store product protection policy for my cell phone and had a bad key pad, I waited till the V600 was out to go in and switch out to that. I called every other day for 3 weeks till they finally had it in. I drove down there to exchange it out (and pay the difference of course) and they told me that they didn't have it, even though I talked to the same girl moments before... End rant

By the way, these first batches of Cingular V600's are kind of buggy. Some have been known to just randomly restart themselves or freeze up. If this happens to you, just remember to bring it back and exchange it in the 15 days following the purchase. Sweet phone besides that.

$40ish for 2 years. If anything goes wrong with the phone, bring it in and they exchange it out. If they no longer carry that phone, or even if the do, you can pay the difference and go to any model. They also will replace the batteries for free every year I think.
Pretty good policy if you ask me. Cingulars insurance on the other hand costs $3.99 a month and a $50 deductible, but does cover loss. The BB plan does not cover things like misuse or loss. I have both.

This deal is YMMV. The free bluetooth headset is for signing up with ATT service. Luckily, my salesman last night didn't know that and just checked out the headset for $0.00

I paid $250 for the phone on a 1 year contract, and got $175 worth of rebates to send in.

I do have to say that so far I'm very impressed with the phone and the headset is sweet too.
