Best buy cell phone service plans

Ok....I pretty much HATE those stupid service plans on everything except cell phones cause get this...about 2 years ago I got a new cell phone from them and the guy recomended that I get the service plan and of course I go into the typical "no no no no mode". The guy keeps pushing and explains that for the next three years I can just keep getting any new cell phone I want. So I decide to get it. You know what...it's been some good money spent. I've already got 4 new cell phones from them. Whenever a new cell phone comes out that I like I just walk in and say I want the phone, they take my old one, setup service on my new phone and tada...free cell phone. Oh yeah...and you get all the free batteries you want. You just call BB and they mail you a new battery. Just felt like sharing.

Nope...they just move the service to my new phone. I've never had to start new contract.

Nope...no questions asked. I thought they would have asked why I wanted to return it or something but they never ask. I just say I want to replace this phone and they say..."do you have the box and everything". But I guess if they do ask you...you could just go drop the phone outside the store "oops it's broken".

This was the old policy, it was around when I was still working there about a year ago. Right as I left, they changed it to once you replace your product 1 time, the service plan has been completed and you no longer have a service plan on the new product. You would have to buy another service plan on your new phone. For anyone who bought a service plan before this policy was put in place can have as many exchanges as they want. Just make sure you read those service plans over before buying them, theres alot of fine print in them.
