I was thinking the same thing since I can't seem to find a 6800 gt at a reasonable price :brokenheart:

Is $161.1 that good of a deal for a radeon 9800 pro?

Math is off a bit.

$229
-10% Coupon
-------------
$206
-------------
+ $18 tax
------------------
$224 out the door
------------------
-$50 rebate
----------------
$174 for the card.

Or pay $300 for 6800 Vanilla. Valuewise...it's a wash.

You're assuming he resides in your state.

Not necessarily. It's a big YMMV, but the last time they had a coupon promotion, I was able to use the coupon on a digital SLR even though the fine print says elsewise. It's worth a shot...the worst they can say is "no" so you move on and try another CSR or another store. 😉

is this a legit coupon or just a scan of a coupon hosting on someone's site? 😉

The coupon is legit. It is from Best Buy. I printed one out from May and used it with no problems and no questions asked.

Manufactures? (like the 9800pro rebate) No

So you're saying if I use this 10% coupon on a 9800 Pro, I cannot get the BEST BUY rebate on that card? Are you sure about this? Have you tried before? Not saying you're wrong, just wondering if you have any proof/clarification.

Thanks!

I've had no problems getting BB to validate a MIR on an item I've used past 10% coupons to purchase. 🙂

I think the "cannot be used with other offers" refers to anyone that might have a percent off (or dollar off) coupon they want to use along with this coupon. For instance, when I signed up for my BB credit card, and received it in the mail, it came with a $10 instant gift card coupon (when I charged more than $100). If I tried to use that with a 10% off coupon, they would give me the choice of one or the other, not both.

Basically, for me, with 8.25% sales tax, this pays my sales tax plus a little bit. Nice if I have something I want to buy, but it won't cause me to make a purchase I wasn't already planning on making.

Ooooo, hopefully they'll have a 6800GT on Saturday. Their shipments come in on Wed and Friday, and they put them out the next day. 🙂
