I'm looking to subscribe to businessweek, the economists, Newsweek (but I'd prefer something a lot more business orriented), Harvard Business Review (but something more news oriented than that), or something like that, and just wondered if anyone had any strong reccomendations... Price is a factor.

The Economist

I receive The Economist, Fortune and Foreign Affairs (more journal-like). I tend to toss Fortune to the side and prefer The Economist.
Foreign Affairs comes once every two months, and it's different, so you can't compare it, but I think it's a good addition to news.

The Economist isn't bad with respect to world news, but it is lacking as a business weekly. Not to mention it's incredibly full of itself, overly editorialized and biased, and tends to get verbose.

Go with a WSJ online subscription. It's the best answer.

i heard the economist is very good... but god damn it's expensive.

i read the week. mostly news with couple pages of dedicated of business stuff.
