I am need to quickly build a budget PC for my sis. It will be intended for NON-gaming and NON-OCing!

The hardest thing for me to find is a good mobo for her. I am mostly interested in the Nforce2 boards w/ Integrated Graphics Processor (GF4MX). I have been just looking on NewEgg and my choices are sorta slim.

So far I am interested in either the Asus A7N8X-VM or MSI K7N2G-L. Any other recommendations & suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

No overclocking or gaming eh? Why not save some cash and get her the Asus A7N266-VM AA for 69.99$ shipped? Great sound, takes up to a 2600+, stable, mature chipset, G2MX IGP is plenty for work, school, internet, DVD playyback, ect. No USB2.0 or IEEE1394 though, so if that is a must then the Shuttle MN31N has the MCP-T southbridge and all the other goodies for 97$

Best bang for your buck will be the Shuttle MN31N. Even has dual VGA ports built into the board, so doing dual monitor is included.

Maybe the Chaintech 7NIF2 . Not fancy but they do the job . Prices seems to be in the upper $80.00 range .

Another vote for the Shuttle MN31N...I just put a system together for someone else's sister who is going away to school. Not a hitch at install and it ran like a champ. Nice board...got it for $95 shipped from Newegg.

Another vote for the Asus. A7N-266-VM. I was impressed with it when I built a system with it earlier this year. It's still running without a hitch. It's also gives you the option of getting her a smaller case since it's MicroATX.
