Best Broadband in St. Louis?

So I'm moving out of campus housing to save a metric buttload of money every month and ditch this crappy internet connection. Does anyone know which broadband company is the best? One of my roommates wants to get cable TV, so I'm leaning in the direction of cable instead of DSL, though I'm not committed to anything yet.

i currently use charter and it is great. never had a problem with it, been connected for over a year now. I had sbc yahoo dsl for about 6 months, but it was SLOW. i'm talking slower than dial-up. plus i think you need a phone line to have dsl.

I used to live in STL, had both Charter cable and SWB DSL.

Both were fine, no complaints.

SBC DSL just depends on your distance from a CO. I have had SBC for 4 years now and its good enough for me to stick with it that long.

SBC also lowered their DSL prices to 14.95 and up I believe. The 3mb speed is 24.95 or some crap. good luck.

I've had SBC Dsl for a few years now... no complaints...
