Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I couldnt figure out which one to put it in. This year I have to design my high schools band website - but really have not had much experience with web design. I am looking for a good book that might tell a little bit about all the aspects of it. This site has to have alot of graphics and sound files. Your help is greatly appreciated.

actually the first book i got a couple of years ago was sam's teach yourself html in 24 hours, it was pretty good, but from there i just searched the net and found tons and tons of resource for free.

so, bottom line, bookmark a couple of sites that will guide you through your site building. along with asking helps in these forums, and you will be set..

oh yea, I forgot to answer your question to.hehe
a while back , my friend made a webpage for a project for school , he showed it to me and I was impressed, i told him I didnt know he had any idea how to make pages and images..
then he said, "i dont, it was all pre made"
he told me about http://www.freewebtemplates.com/
go there, they have pre made layouts that look nice
