Best Bond

I'll second the Brosnan. He's a much more refined Bond than Connery. As a fairly young Bond fan (I'm 19, have watched Bond movies for about 8 years), I don't see why it seems the majority opinion is that Connery was the best. I'm looking forward to seeing the final results of this poll.

Definitely Brosnan. To me, he looks the part so much better than anyone else. Each of them has things good about them, though.
 
Despite the fact that he grew to hate the role, Connery was, by FAR, the best Bond.

Brosnan? He's too cutesy...he's better off in roles like The Thomas Crown Affair.
 
If you are going to compile results, you might want to include the results from the poll in this thread.

I vote for Sean Connery, hands down. On second thought, he doesn't have to keep his hands down. He can put those hands anywhere he wants. 😉
 
The only reasons I've seen for Connery are that 'He is the best/original Bond'...

I'm not looking for an argument, it's not that serious an issue, just an explanation as to why people think Connery was the best. Is it purely based on a sentimental favorite?

Connery had the right mix of humor/drama/action. He knew when to turn up the heat, when to be serious, and when to charm with wit. A modern-day Bogie.

Roger Moore was too stodgy.

Dalton...well...I never saw him playing Bond so I can't comment.

Brosnan is more....smarmy. I can see him trying...Connery never had to "try"...he just...had it.
 
Connery, because he was the ONLY kick@$$ Bond... the rest are pansies. 😀
This despite the fact that Connery is a complete prick in real life...

this has been asked before and my answer is still the same. sean connery is the best. pierce is great but not quite the best.
