Best bios for an asus a7v133

Ive been havin a few issues with my pc. I was thinking of downgrading my bios since most of this seems to have started since I upgraded it. Are there any suggstions on the best bios for the a7v133?
 
What kind of issues are you experiencing? I have the 1008a installed and it works great, of course all the revisions I have tried have worked well for me.

I may have the same issue. My A7v133 has been stable for a long time since around bios 1004. I have used most bios versions up to the current one. I generally upgrade after there have been no bad reports for a few weeks for a new one.

Recently I have had bluescreens after "heavy" disk work, eg copying files of 100's MB. I think these have been IRQ less than Equal errors. I have also had suspicous USB issues with my USB connected printer only printing a single page then stopping. I had similar problems (USB and large file copies) in the early days of the A7v133, with early bios's.

These problems occurred over the last few weeks whilst using 1008A and perhaps its predecessor. I have dropped back to 1008 Beta 001b and all the problems have vanished.

If your issues sound similar, then yes dropping back a few bios versions may be worth trying.

My issues are these. First I get some wierd issues with my usb and mouse. For instance I will be playing a game like tribes2 or something. There will be a lot of crap happening and my mouse will just stop functioning. Everything else will work but the mouse. So I turn the mouse over to get it to reset itself (its optical) and after a second or so its back to full operation.

Im also getting some issues with intermitten pausing when a high pitched sound hits in a game.
I don't remember having these problems before.
