Best bicycle lock ?

any personal experiences or recommendations for a bicycle lock? which one is the safest?

The big red one by Specialized. It's like one of those plastic snakes (you know the ones that move side to side and not up and down). You'd have a tough time cutting it unless you have a plasma torch handy. I guess red was the obsolete color. They're silver now.

i have something similar to this, works great, looks great, weighs a ton, and you can use it to bash someone's head in if so inclined

He's right. The kryptonite lock is strong. But very heavy.

Also, no matter what lock you have it can be cut.

That krypto lock reminds me of the best weapon on Road Rash. hehe. Ride-by chaining.

I have always used Kyrptonite in the past, and will continue to do so. I prefer their Ulocks like second lock down.
