Best baseball game?

I've gotten out of the habit of playing sports games recently (too much UT and Diablo 2 😉), so I'm looking for a good baseball game for the PC. I'd like something as realistic as possible (no 20-15 games please), with good stats tracking. I have no need for front office stuff or any of the other frills, I'd just like to be able to play a season of baseball and keep track of all my stats. Thanks for the help! 🙂

There's really only two options:
Triple Play has the best graphics, but you'll get those 20-15 games all the time.
High Heat 2002 is probably the BEST baseball game out at the moment, much more realistic.

I would say Baseball Stars, for the Ninendo8 console... Althought that's a joke I am somewhat serious. For the PC I would agree w/ Triple Play...

If you want flashy graphics and sound then Triple Play is the perfect choice. It looks and sounds and plays extremely nicely... it's definitely NOT AT ALL a very accurate simulation of baseball however.

If you want the most realistic baseball game I'd say High heat baseball 2001 or 2002 is unquestionably superior to Triple Play.

That was by far the greatest baseball game ever made. Still is I think. I play it on the emulator all the time. =)

Triple Play 2001 is the most realistic current game however.

No question, High Heat 2001 or 2002 OWNS the baseball simulation market, nothing even compares. Triple play is a joke by comparison for example.

Toucdown -- sweet man, I'm not alone ; )

2 friends and I just started playing it again... luckily one of our consoles still works...
BTW -- which emulator do you use for it? I haven't tried it on Nester because I don't know how to save the games...
