Best bang for the buck video card

Most of the "good" 350W power supplies typically can push a bit more. I know my old trusty fortron 350's usually did 500. Most of the Antecs back then did as well. Besides the video card and an overclocked multi core CPU, the rest of a computer system typically does not draw that much power. Usually 40 to 75 watts for everything in a computer besides the CPU and video card. Even then, that is with a couple hard drives and extra fans all spinning up. Maybe a cathode light or two.

So you are fine with almost any ATI card, and most NVidia cards. Personally, I would look for a deal on a 4850, 4870, or 4890 REFERENCE cooler design card. Do not go for a non reference design unless you know for a fact that there are heatsinks installed on the memory chips. I know for a fact that Mass Effect and Dragon Age both run exceptionally well on a single 4850 video card.
