NOS and Cocaine (the drink) both have the highest caffeine content from what I've been able to find. I think the NOS bottles are the best value because you can drink 1/3 or 1/4 at a time and get the same kick you would get from an entire can of rockstar or monster.

People don't understand. It isn't just caffeine. It's a combo of b vitamins, ephedra or some ephedra bearing plant extract, taurine, and all that shit gives you much more than coffee ever does. It's literally like rocket fuel. It actually wakes my mind up, and not just in a fuzzy way like coffee / caffeine does.

Coffee is more than just caffeine, it contains potassium, magnesium, manganese, vitamin B2,vitamin B3,vitamin B5, and even protein and it doesn't taste like crap.

I drink coffee every morning.

If I want an energy drink I usually get a Monster Zero, they are always 2 for 3$ or better locally. Though they are made down the street from me.

Coffee for me, since it's cheap to make at home.

I sometimes might grab a Rockstar, but they're pricey and full of sugar. I also used to be on a 2+ can a day Red Bull habit, which (for my wallet's sake) I broke out of.

I can brew a pot of coffee for less than a buck. Add sugar and/or cocoa until it's too sweet to matter whether I like coffee or not, and brew more if the first 64-oz carafe didn't do the job.

If I want to go the Four Loko route, I can add this:

Jacked. One scoop to a bottle of water.

45 servings/$24 at Amazon. So almost .50/serving.

No there's no better bang for the buck - if the Arizona product you refer to truly qualifies as an energy drink. There are decent prices on 16 oz energy drinks these days - like $1.50 Rockstar and $1.78 Monster.

I have seen the cheapo Slap drinks at Walmart but I can't take them seriously and haven't tried them. They're basically a stripped down energy drink without any guarana, ginseng, inositol, or carnitine - just B-vitamins, sweeteners, caffeine, and taurine.

Walmart has energy drink packets for under $2.00 a box. 120mg of caffeine per packet. 10 in a box.

That's 1.5 "small" redbulls worth of energy for under $.20

Beat that.

If you are going to go the packet route, you might as well buy caffeine pills or powder and mix that with Kool-Aid or bootleg Kool-Aid. Even cheaper.

That combination is actually effective enough on its own. Caffeine and to a lesser degree B-vitamins are giving the bulk of the energy "kick". Guarana is mainly caffeine, anyway. I recommend trying Slap, but only the Green Apple flavor. Frost is okay, but the low carb one is not good at all (has a heavy medicine flavor)

Monster, NOS, Full Throttle (Blue Agave is fantastic), and some Rockstar drinks are my choice energy drinks, but they aren't cheap per single can in regular stores.

That Rehab drink is fan-fucking-tastic as far as energy drinks go. But the old standby of Bronkaid + Caffeine pill works for me.

N'Sane from Nutrishop, technically it's a pre-workout supplement, but the 1 time I took it I had enough energy where I felt like I could run a marathon and afterwards spar for 12 rounds with Floyd Mayweather Jr. It's loaded to the brim with stimulants, but it works. Even though it's meant for working out. I doubt you'll find anything that gives you that kind of energy. I think for some it might be too strong and they'll wig out and be super jittery. Also it has 1 3 dimethylamylamine, which people can crash hard from, doesn't effect me. But for those it does it can be pretty drastic. If you have a Nutrishop in your area there's a good chance they'll give you a free sample to try. Caffeine does nothing for me, but whatever they did to make this work, all I can say is DAMN. To give you an idea how powerful N'Sane was on me, I can drink a regular Monster and be sound asleep 2 hours later.

a 45 serving container's $45 bucks.
