Best bang for the buck card with TV out?

I need a new video card to put in my Entertainment Center computer. This machine is basically for playing movies/mp3s/MAME, but I'd like to be able to run 3d games too (at lower resolutions, I guess). I've seen the GF4 MX at a little over $50 at newegg, is that a good choice? How do the cheaper ATI cards compare in terms of image quality?

Sapphire Radeon 9000 has TV-out and excellent 2D image quality for $63 shipped on pricewatch. It will play most games at higher resolutions.
