Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. Dec. 1969. Cleveland Auditorium. They were MAGIC.

David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust Tour. Sept 1972. Angora Ballroom, Cleveland. Just plain freaking unbelievable.

Paul McCartney and Wings. Oct. 1976. Richfield Coliseum, Cleveland. Put major shivers down my spine.

Coulda' been the times, coulda' been me, coulda' been the the "extras", but these shows stick in my mind....and I've seen a coupla hundred.

As soon as I saw the MAGIC part, I thought it might have been magic...but it might also have been the acid.

Not that night. Weed and Wine only. 😀

I don't go to concerts very often at all but my all-time faves were Dream Theater (6 Degrees tour), Dave Matthews in 2001, and Iron Maiden in 1985.

Too many to choose from
Jimi Hendrix (First concert ever)
Cream
Santana
Allman Brothers
Black Sabath's first tour of the US
Genesis w/Peter Gabriel
Peter Gabriel solo
Springsteen
The Police (First tour if the US in at a Small Nightclub)
The Tubes numerous times
David Bowie
Rod Stewart before he went gay
Rolling Stones
ACDC
Paul MaCartney and Wings
ZZ Top
RHCP at Lollapoluza
Tina Turner
just to name a small few.

Best band as far as reproducing their sound on a technical level, Boston. Most entertaining show, the R&R Hall of Fame concert. Best all around performance by a band, Floyd, solo artist, Elton John.

I've only been to a couple of concerts but the one that stands in my mind is back in the late 90's I went to Ozzfest with a friend of mine. Sepaltura was opening for Ozzy and they brought out some wood type instruments that were of a percussion based. They hammered on those for about 10 minutes. I'm not much of a buttrocker but they put on a great show.

Best show.. hmm hard to say.

Crossroads 2007 was pretty fucking sweet.
(Jeff Beck
Doyle Bramhall II
Eric Clapton
Robert Cray
Sheryl Crow
Vince Gill
Buddy Guy
BB King
Alison Krauss and Union Station
Sonny Landreth
Albert Lee
Los Lobos
John Mayer
John McLaughlin
Willie Nelson
Robert Randolph
Hubert Sumlin
Derek Trucks
Jimmie Vaughan
Steve Winwood
Johnny Winter)

Best live experience.. I cannot choose between The Police, Who with Robert Plant opening, Radiohead's various shows I've seen, Tool or being close to front row at a NIN show; Sigur Ros are pretty amazing live as well.

I've seen too many shows to pick a best but those stand out in my mind.
