Best Backup Program

Which backup program do you all think is the best? What do you use? How is "Handy Backup" or "Second Copy"?

Thanks,

Chad

Second Copy!!!!! I use it all the time. I encourage my customers (I do computers for a living) to purchase it. Just make sure you set up "profiles" for all the stuff you'd need in a failure. For example, Outlook's .PST files, etc.

I love Second Copy!

There are different types of backup programs and procedures. You mention Second Copy so sounds like you are interested in data backup.

I used to use Second Copy and liked it but could not get it to work properly with my NAS setup. I finally came across Syncback from 2brightsparks.com and have been very impressed with its usefullness. Best of all, it's free although they will release a commercial version in the future.

Second Copy sounds like a nice little backup app.

Since I just had to fork over $40 for File Scavenger because of a corrupted OS... $30 for Second Copy seems like a wise investment.

One question...
Second Copy has a feature called "Disk Spanning". Does that merely mean that you can save large backups across multiple CDRs, OR can you create multiple "destination" locations for redundancy?

I use a program called SmartSync Pro (http://www.smsync.com). It can be used for both file-based sync and backup.
It is an excellent product that I ran across after reading a review on it in The Wall Street Journal. This app automatically synchronizes my desktop with two laptops. I have had absolutely no problems with it since I began using it.
