Catch some corny B-movie classics. I remember watching Big Trouble in Little China as a kid. I'd love to watch it again knowing that guy was Kurt Russell and the chick was from Sex and the City.

Many Steven Segal movies.. what was that terribly bad movie where he shoots down a full blown military helicopter with his pistol?

Also take a trip down the memory lane- Stand by Me (Keifer Sutherland), Alien, Aliens, Predator 1 & 2, etc.

Big Trouble in Little China. I thought we took care of this in the Kurt Russell thread.

There are some good ones in the horror genre. A couple of the (original) Halloween movies qualify, imo.

He was asking b-rate action, not b-horror.

While we are at it, let's throw troma catalog on the table.

Stand By Me?

Guys, watch the link he posted to understand why everything you've suggested so far is wrong. By B-movie, he's meaning like SyFy original type.

Only the Strong. Capoeira action galore. Might as well get Drive too, also with Marc Dacascos.

Anything Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Van Damme.

While you're at it, add in Ah-Nold Schwarzenegger's movies, especially his earlier ones.
They're definitely "B-Grade movies" that can be a way to mindlessly waste away the day.

I just saw Ninja Assassin on cable a couple of weeks ago. Also, Expendables wasn't too bad. Of course, these were both recent. There's always Chuck Norris in Delta Force if you want more old school.

Only the Strong owns. love the soundtrack in that movie, and angry that Mazda stole the "Zoom Zoom" song from that movie! (well may have been a song before that movie, but they did some capoera remix to it that owns).

Story of Riki (Riki-Oh) is one of the best B action movies ever, maybe the best.

Another good one is Bad Taste (early Peter Jackon scifi action movie).

Dead Alive (get the unrated version... it gives Riki-Oh a good run in the gore category. More of a cheesy horror/gore movie, but quite enjoyable for anyone who likes B movies).

As someone mentioned, Troma movies are fun, but almost 'too B' on purpose at times. I do remember enjoying Class of Nukem High, The Toxic Avenger, and Tromio and Juliet.
