Best auto updater

Which program helps keep all your programs up to date and does it the best?

I just use Windows Update and the respective updates for the various softwares I have installed. Is there a single application that actually updates all programs?

The only one for games I've seen is Game Shadow: http://www.gameshadow.com/ I think you can even download freeware games directly too, which is kinda cool. At least I know you can get em from the site.

I wish Microsoft could expand Microsoft Update to include updates for third-party software (much like Debian/Ubuntu repositories and apt-get).

I just use the individual update programs plus MS Update.

Secunia is great for security.

Some people just want to be auto notified when an update is out.

So far I'm leaning toward File Hippos Update Checker.
