Best app to show off GF3?

Has anyone found a jaw-dropping app or demo to show off the capabilities of a GeForce3? Some of the stuff in 3DMark 2001 is pretty cool (nature scenes, lobby, etc.) but I think there's got to be something that takes better advantage of the more advanced features.. I've looked a BIT for the Aquanox demo and all I can find is crappy mpeg files. I got the VisionTek, so I didn't get the cool version of Giants or anything interesting with the card.

Solitaire definately! Just watch those cards flip! Actually you can crank everything up on Q3 and show off the fill rate when you rail someone who is right on you and the frames never drop to less than 30 running through the gibs and blood. The demos on the CD are pretty cool. The only problem is that if you're showing it off to someone who doesn't know anything about this kind of stuff they won't be able to appreciate it the way you do.

I have seen a benchmarking app used on a hardware site called Aquamark which is based on the game Aquanox which is supposed to use the Geforce 3 capabilities. I have not been successful in finding where to download it from however.

OK, now I feel a bit less old around here - Someone else who remembers a game that old! Now, the question is do you remember Hunt the Wumpus, loading from casette on a TI?

Wait till two E3's from now and it will be out. Typical Nivida hardware, program for three game generations down the road.

I had the cartridge. ;)
Parsec was my favorite, especially with the very cool speech synthesizer! It would be years until I heard speech in a game again...

Video hardware always leads the software. Nobody is going to make apps to take advantage of new hardware features, until the hardware is out.

i just downloaded and ran the xisle demo that was tweaked for the geforce 3 ( i have a visiontek geforce 3 by the way) and OMG it is the most amazing thing ive seen in a long time. it gave me that old voodoo 1 feeling about computer graphics all over again. i could not believe i was interacing and moving around that place in real time. if you have a geforce 3 you should really check this out. it is unbelievable. also im running my geforce 3 on a athlon 700 and the frame rates in xisle seemed to be at least in the 30's and that was with QC AA on. i think most of you have better systems then that so you have nothing to worry about.

It will also run on GeForce based cards, albeit slowly and without nifty special effects.

i dont see whats the problem with the 3d Mark 2001 demo. I mean, it was designed to wow users who had the geforce3, so I doubt youre going to get anything significantly better then that. that said, what about the demos nvidia gives out? I had a fun time watching a metallic T-Rex move in its surroundings during a demo when the Geforce2 Ultra was introduced
