Best app to monitor CPU temps?

I just downloaded and installed motherboard monitor. Temps are 42 during regular use of a mobile 2400 OC'd to 11x200 with a Thermalright SP-97, AS5, and a 92mm Zalman fan with the silent resister on (prob 7V). Seems pretty accurate as that's about average for this setup from what I can tell.

Is there other or better software for monitoring CPU temps?

Don't see how you could get better than MBM 5. What are you looking for exactly that would be better?

Don't know...more reliable?...whatever. This was one of the first I found on a google search and I wanted to be sure it was a good one. Thanks.

what cpu is that?

if those temps are right then the ambient temp inside your case is 89f or 31.7C
which is hot, your cpu is 95 or 35c which is way to hot for most chips. my athlon xp2000+ rarely runs above 50f. what heatsink/fan do you have on the cpu and what sort of case cooling?

EDIT yup, ignore this it's drivel!!

note to self.. go to sleep.....:eek:

Room temperatiure is usually around 72F. You say 89F is too hot. Really?

You say your CPU rarely gets above 50F, but you mean 50C. And his at 35C is too hot?

MBM is the de facto program for monitoring CPU temps.

holy crap your CPU runs colder than ambient:Q

waylander: you should try to keep the CPU under 50-55 C at all times, yours is nice and cool. what's the load temp? "sensor 3" is probably useless, since nothing in your case will be at the freezing point of water :p

Most people read temps in C for CPU/mobo.

the one thing that i feel is missing is the ablility to have a history graph. i know there is a plugin for that, but it is really messy and not customizable at all.
