I'm looking to get give my father-in-law an AV package for Christmas. I, myself, am confused with the array of choices out there. I've been using Norton for about a year, but I don't think it's the best one there in terms of system resources and load. AT'ers, what do you use and/or recommend?

But you can get EZtrust anti-virus and firewall free with updates for a year. See my link above and look for the link a few posts down.
 
Are you suggesting Avg and Eztrust simply because their free even if they aren't any better than Norton Anti Virus 2004? Atleast for me, my computers "health" is well worth the $30-40 or so for a real anti virus program.
