Hard, gamma radiation. I suggest you sneak into your local military base.

IIRC, my dad used to use grits to kill them. They'd eat the grits and explode.

my dad has some stuff called fireshot or something, kill sme pretty fast, spray it all over their mound and watch them slowly die over a few minutes...repeat for 2 or 3 days to ensure you got them all

otherwise windoex'll work, i guees its the amonia or alcohol or whichever they use, dirt cheap anyway

A few suggestions:

- Use Raid around the base of the outside wall of your house. It leaves a residue that should kill ants for quite a while.

- If you see trails of ants in the house, wipe them up with rubbing alcohol. This will destroy their pheromone trails and also kills the ants that you wipe up in the process.

- Follow the trails back and see if there's a hole they are coming from in a wall or floor. Spritz it with Raid and plug it up ASAP.

- Make sure you don't have any food, water, grease, etc. out that the ants can get to.

Blahblahblahblah.

I hate ant threads with a passion. If you don't want ants in your house, for christ's sake...

Quit feeding them!

Unless they're the live-in-your-floorboard/wood type of ants, they're doing you a favor by cleaning your god damn messy house.

They aren't a pest. They aren't nasty. They don't carry diseases. Chemicals suck.

My house was spotless when they first started appearing. It's not about the filth. They come searching for a new home in your cabinets... these carpenter ants do.

COMBAT (advanced formula) worked for me though. I had killed about 15 ants before picking up the COMBAT from Walmart, but once I put 4 of those babies down in the kitchen... I haven't seen a single one... that was about a month ago.

Walmart, $4 is all it takes.
