Best Android tablet

My wife uses our Xoom tablet all the time, but the thing is old/slow. Looking at the current tablets available, the Samsung Tab S2 9.7 looks like a good combination of screen, expandable storage, LTE availability and hardware. If price isn't a factor, are there any other Android tablets on the market to consider?

I'd look at Google's own Pixel C when it comes out before the holidays. It doesn't have expandable storage or LTE (though I wouldn't be surprised if LTE eventually showed up), but it'll be much more powerful and better-built... and importantly, you won't have to wait months for OS updates.

You're in a bit of a tough spot otherwise, since a lot of Android OEMs have abandoned the high-end space... it's basically Google, Samsung and Sony.

I really want the Pixel C, just haven't seen much since the product announcement. I could live without expandable storage if the 64GB is available. Not sure what the odds are of it showing up this year.
