As far as you are concerned, what is the nicest city you have ever been to. Conversely, what are some of the worst. My favorite has to Monte Carlo, Monaco. Just amazing, I don't really know how to describe it. Others include:
Zurich, Switzerland (or almost any place in Switzerland for that matter)
Florence, Italy
Venice, Italy
Edinburgh, Scotland
Quebec City, Canada
Burlington, VT

Baltimore, MD
Philadelphia, PA
Washington, DC

How many of those cities have you ever actually lived in for an extended period of time? Visiting or vacation someplace does not give a person a true perspective on what it is like to actually live there.

 
I'm not asking what is the best city someone has lived in. I'm asking what is the best and worst cities people have visited. Ive lived in Florence, Italy, and Baltimore, Md to let you know.

best: most cities in Taiwan, Osaka - Japan, NYC, New Orleans, Washington D.C, Boston, Philly

worst: Dayton Ohio, Grand Rapid MI, Charleston WV.
