What is the absolute best and SMALLEST CPU Cooler for AMD Tbird 1400. I wanna move my system to a much smaller case and this Kaine Hedgehog 238 and 80MM Fandapter/fan isn't gonna cut it anymore!!

Can I be Bad Guy #1 :D and suggest shifting to an AthlonXP 1700+ Thoroughbred? The Tbird 1.4GHz puts out a darned lot of heat (65W typical, 72W max) versus the Thoroughbred 1700+ (45W typical, 50W max). AthlonXP performs better too. With the AthlonXP tbred, I think you could get away with a lil' Alpha PAL-153U or something. There are mucho mas low-profile coolers at www.rackmountpro.com too, among other places.

Switching CPU's is not going to happen. I rarely use this system anymore as i've shifted most of my apps to my work laptop. Now all I use this for is the occasional Total Annihilation game or email checkups.

-Does the mobo allow for underclocking and/or undervolting?

-Exactly how small do you need?

How about one of these or these?

The best smallest I've used is the doctor. ;)

Doesn't look like much, but it works well. Either that or a cak II 38. But that one is a bit noisy.

The mobo allows for UC and Undervolt but I want something that will work in a basic case. I wanna get the smallest case possible to hold an IDE HDD, CD-RW Vid card, Lan card, and my mobo. I'm not gonna go extreme, just want a good small cooler.
