Hi, Im trying to build a budget comp for my friend. Planning to use AMD 1700 Thoroughbred, ddr and buy a decent videocard (radeon 8500LE). Overclocking features would nice and good audio would be great! Was thinking ECS K7S5A PRO but kinda lacks the OC features and the lost cmos issues scaries me.

thanx for any help

AK32A uses the KT266A + VT8233 which has no USB2.0. Of course neither does the Aopen AK75 but at least it has 333MHz DDR/FSB support. The AK32A is around $62 at Newegg and probably has more overclocking options out of the others I listed.

Asrock K7VT2 (by Asus) uses the KT266A + VT8235 which has integrated USB2.0. I don't know of any resellers who carry the Asrock K7VT2.

Decisions, decisions...
