What is the best aim client nowadays? I've been using an old version of aim and deadaim for a while. Gaim? Deadaim? Aim Mutation? What do you guys like?

GAIM is really cool, but it doesn't support the "Get File" feature on AIM, which i use religiously.

so i gotta stick with regular AIM.

MSN is really cool to use, but it's only worth using if u have lots of friends that use it.

There's a few bugs I've had to contend with even in recent versions of GAIM too.

I like my deadAIM myself.

I've used both AIM+ and AIMutation in the past several years and have been using AIMutation for a while now. File transfers works (when someone's network configuration doesn't break it, anyway), it has tabbed chat windows (although I don't use them), logging, and you can talk while away. The only thing I don't like about it, and it's a minor annoyance, is that when you're away and have it set to hide new message windows, when you try to read the messages (just unchecking the box to hide new windows, I mean), the message windows are kinda smashed upwards and useless. It's easily fixed by minimizing and then bringing the window back up. It's annoying, but the ability to talk while away makes it work the minor aggravation.

I don't understand people and their lack of Gaim file sends .. I've sent AND received files with Gaim. Just forward the ports ..
