Before you say anything, I'm now using a 32mb PCI video card in my xp-2800/A7N8X, and it works very well for my basic needs. I use flight sim once in a while, otherwise I don't game and don't plan to. Don't plan to OC either. Just figured that $40-60 would give a inexpensive big improvement over the pci card. My research has led me to a FX-5200/128-bit/128 or 256mb AGP 8X card. Would I see a major difference? If not, I won't upgrade. Any better cards in this price range? For my needs all cards above this level seem to offer more than what I'll ever use on a 17 or 19 inch crt. Thanks in advance for all input.

If you dont mind getting used, a GF4 Ti4200 usually sells for that range on the For Sale threads.

A 128MB, 128bit geforce fx5200 will suffice and be an improvement. You can also opt for a used geforce 4 ti4200 as well.
