Tried Do It Wiser
Tried top rated on Amazon

Both started leaking toner out of the cartridge. Both started to degrade fast on the greens.

OEM Brother replacement is like $400 for my laser.

Any suggestions for something in the middle?

Thanks, but I'm using those now. 2 different toners started leaking and while they replaced them for free now the colors are degrading with light use.

Someone told me xerox makes some of the better replacements but they aren't available for mine.

Well back when I bought it for the office it was ideal. Print, copy, scan, fax. I pretty much use a stand alone scanner now for paperless record keeping and faxing is done online. Maybe I should just pick up an inkjet since it's basically used to invoice customers only. It's going to cost as much in replacement toner as buying a new laser would lol.

If you just use it for invoices, do you really need a color (laser) printer?

The color toner is usually hit and mostly miss with generics. You can't go wrong with generic black toner on a laser.

I recommend the Canon Supertank or Epson ecotank printer. Both print thousands of pages and you get high quality OEM ink.

Looks cool thanks. I think I remember more why I went with the laser, it does duplex and wireless. It doesn't look like too many inkjets support that.

I just meant that now, if you're considering buying an entirely new printer and don't need color, why not just get a (relatively) cheap B&W laser?

Most inkjets have wireless now and auto duplex printing. Plus the carts are dirt cheap on Amazon.
