Great movie! I love the beginning of that scene where the guy sees Bullitt in the mirror and tightens his lapbelt to ready himself for the chase.

Well, to me an action scene involves guns. My all time favorite action scene starts when Rambo nails that guy with the microphone in FB part 2. Pure awesome. The camp attack in Predator is a close second.

However, nothing beats a good fight scene, and the ALL TIME greatest fight scene in the HISTORY of movies is the alley fight scene in "They Live" that fight is simply awesome, mostly because of all the false finishes, and some of the moves are really dirty. The scene is so good, an entire episode of South Park was devoted to it. (Cripple Fight)

The chariot scene in Ben Hur. There were a couple good scenes in The Mummy like the dust storm with Imhotep's face on it and Brendon Fraser sword fighting the dead people at the end. The sinking scene in Titanic. The nuclear blast dream scene in T2. Just about all of Conan the Barbarian.

yeah, the "battle of the moundo" scene from Conan the Barbarian, where Conan and Subatai set up all those traps and take on like that whole army of bad guys is awesome. I love part where that first horse rider is riding along, and conan pops out and sticks him right in the chest with that huge axe, blood everywhere, totally awesome.

Bank robbery scene in heat is so good because it feels very real. Excellent work.

Car chase scene in Ronin because it is the best ever and car chases kick ass.

Pretty well any of the combat scenes in Last of the mohicans also, particularly the last because it entwines with the soundtrack so damn well.

I would also have to say that the bank robbery scene in Heat is one of the best one... especially if you turn up the sound volume (neighbors came over to see what was going on )

wow, its so nice to see people here that can appreciate the classics! Just becasuse a movie was made more than 5 years ago, or doesn't have "cool" special effects, does NOT mean it's not a bad@ss movie! The Ben Hur chariot race is one of the best!!

wow i'll have to break out the Heat dvd later and watch it again, lots of people seem to like it

and agreed vi_edit, predator 2, once at the shootout with the druggy folks is great all the way through the end.

i kinda liked the battle in the city at the end of Full Metal Jacket
