I'm looking for the best 850E motherboard on the market right now. Overclocking isn't a major issue. I'm more interested in stability. I plan on putting a 2.53b with 2x256 of RIMM 4200 (32 bit). Any suggestions or experiences with the 850E boards?

No, Intel hasn't made a RIMM4200 board; their RDRAM boards so far are 16-bit RDRAM. But the I thought the question in hand is about 850E chipset boards with problems regardless of their using 16 or 32-bit RDRAM.

faction95si,

Do this:
1. Go to Newegg.com
2. Purchase the following items:

a. Gigabyte 8IHXP2 w/ 4 kingston 256 rdram 1066 modules
b. Intel 2.53 (533)
c. Antec 550w

Totoal: $1381.00

3. Your paying for stability!! If you want something else...pay less...

Faction95Si,

ASUS P4T533 i850E

This one has the best bang for your buck. The only drawback with this board is that it is AGP 4X, as are all 850E boards that I have heard of. That is not ASUS' fault...it is Intel's woeful mistake.
