Hi,

I'm not looking for anything spectacular... just enough for a Barton 2500+ (or Mobile 2500+), 512MB RAM, 1 HD, 2 CD-ROM's, Nforce2 Ultra 400 motherboard...

If it has a window on it, great, but that's not a really big deal.

Thanks for your input. I appreciate it greatly.

Athenatech 747. Among the easiest to build with and the Sparkle 300W PSU should be able to handle your system fine assuming your mobo has the P4 connector. Same comments apply to the Evercase 42x2 series.

compucase LX-6A19 too (same design as a number of the Antec ones in the price range).

May be popular, but how good are the power supplies???? That is what I would be worried about.

Thanks for all your input guys! Some really nice suggestions and all would've been just fine. But, ultimately, I had to choose just one. And the winner is........................................................................

Antec SLK3700AMB..

The sturdiness of the case, the quality of the PS, the removable drive cages, etc just sound very nice. Plus 120mm fans make for great cooling with low noise.

BTW, Shady, do you play DAoC? Know somebody that post in other forums as Shady.

Thanks again all! :)

The Compucase 6A19 (that ? (... mentioned above) is just like the 3700AMB except for the plastic front - if you like a more traditional appearance or color. $49. w/PSU (Heroichi 300W, easily as good as many other 350W units) at mwave.com. See more info at coolcases.com.

Any case by Antec with a 120mm fan option would be a good choice, the SLK3700AMB is a good choice (It's the grey one) And at $60, it's pretty cheap too :)
