Best 450w - 600w power supply with SLI support?

Hey all. I'll be building a new PC in the coming months. Any suggestions for a top-nothc PSU that supports SLI? I need to be at least 450w.

of course, I'm sure the 510W version that's already out could handle anything short of a SCSI server

Enermax noisetaker 600W is around $180, so if price is REALLY not a factor, get that baby hooked up.

Yea, Enermax does what i consider cheating in rating thier power supplies. they are rated at temps at which would never occur under normal use

40 C isn't normal use?

40c is normal use, but enermax's arent rated at 40c for thier power rating, but at 20C, in contrast the 510watt pc&c is 510 watts at 50c .i really shouldn't single them out because they are not the only ones who do it. unfortunataly there is no industry standard so it varies by brand.

OCZ 600watt... I have one...Nice thing about it are the adjustable rails with dials on the backside of the box.....It rauns very cool based on the heat my is thorwing out the back after 62 hours of priming.....Rails are solid and I haven't even touched the railes they give a peak wattage on this 600w as well and I think it may be full adjusment of the rails....

Other nice thing about it is all the standard plug being used...you have 20-24pin connector....2 4pin square connnectors (dual cpu systems), pci express plug....got dedicated cpu and vga 4 pin molex on there own cable...etc...

OCZ is a good brand. Before buying a PSU you should really investigate how they are rating thier numbers. Alot people pay for a lot that what they think they are getting but arent.

My 430 watt enermax was running my system fine (minus I didn't have the 6800NU yet but a 5800U)...I got the 600watt to set me up for the next 2 years....I hopefully be running dual opteron (if I can get one of the new NF4 dual boards that look like they can oc) or dual core dual opterons...I dont see me SLI-ing any though but who knows...

I never have power issues when it comes to my ocing or any of my setups cause I spend the case to take care of that worry...

My Antec True550 is great, with a heavily OC'd, high power draw system.

But if price isn't a factor, I'd get the PCP&C. They are rated the best PSU around, period.

Looks like 40 C to me.
