I need mainly a faxer/copier. Scanner - eh. Printer - even more eh. I need it to be really reliable. I tried a Brother earlier this year but it was a piece of junk. I like HPs, so that may be the way to go. Model recommendations? This is just for occassional home use. Oh, and software fax feature and working over VoIP connection would be great too.

That would be 4 sexy women and me.

I dont know I always felt most were pretty generic and that you have to spend about 200 to start getting anything serious.

What is the budget?

I dunno, $250 or less. I'm thinking I may just buy a monthly faxing service online and use my scanner/laser for copies :p

Next up - good scanners with auto-document feeder?

May be a little out of your budget but nothing beats a laser based MFP. especially if someone sends you a 20 page fax. It won't eat up all your ink and the cost per page is the best with a laser. I have one of these. Its pretty fast and scan quality is excellent too. And if I want to print a color photo I have a separate canon inkjet or I take the photos to the nearest costco. Beats spending hndreds on stupid ink cartridges or refills.

*edit... Keep your eye out for the dell coupons... sometimes you can fond 30% off coupons which will take the price down to around $260... Dont pay full price...

Holy cow, $260 seems like an awesome deal for that machine...
