Best 2X2GB Modules?

I'm looking for the overall best 2X2GB RAM for roughly $100 (my budget is pretty flexible). Obviously, the cheaper the better. Overclocking isn't hugely important, but it is a bonus. I'll be using the Gigabyte P35-DS3L motherboard.
 
I have much love for Corsair XMS2. The particular DIMMS I run are the TWIN2X2048-6400C4. These run at 2.1v and are capable of 4-4-4-12 timings at 2T. They can be had for $80 and I believe there's a rebate out on them for $40. I stick with Corsair since I've never had any problems, and for the money, their performance is top notch.
 
Sorry to kinda derail.
I have the Mushkin 996580 2x2GB XP2-6400 kit that has 4-4-4-12 timings.
It's a very good kit but I don't need it anymore. I didn't overclock it but I did run it at 1T at the rated speeds until now, I have to sell teh kit now.
I'm asking 125 shipped. It's sold out everywhere, lmk if you're interested. IT's a fair deal I think these guys would agree.

What timings and vDIMM are you using for 465mhz ?

Yes, I did. The GSkills are in demand but several modules also have 5 star ratings there along with a decent enough # of people voting.
 
Settle down Francis. I'm in no way saying GSkill is bad. (In fact, the only reason I didn't get your same HZs for my build is that the Ballistix were half the price at the time!)

The OP indicated he would be doing "some" OCing. And I'm simply pointing him out the complete listing of 2 x 2s when you showed him only GSkill. For his purposes, I'm betting the Corsair or the Mushkin set would also be good choices for about the same money. And I can personally vouch for the customer service of Corsair, Mushkin, and Crucial too because I've owned them. His call either way.

Crucial does not make 2 x 2s but even if they did, you wouldn't see me only recommending that brand -- that I'd guarantee. I am not wedded to any brand of anything.

Not related to the thread but I decided to take a look at some of Corsair's sticks and a review jumped out at me and said "read me!"

Cons: Defective. First Corsair RAM I've bought that had problems. System says there's only 3.25GB of RAM with these two 2GB modules available. Back to the four 512MB Corsair modules for now.

I noticed this before and did a similar check and came up with similar results.

It is good though that Micron does make memory chips to facilitate 2GB dimms....like mine...😀
 
I noticed a little instability, probably due to program mishaps but I bumped the voltage up to 1.9V and testing it now.
