Best 22" CRT monitor

Hi-

Will be looking for a large-22"-CRT. I think that for hardcore gaming that a CRT is the best deal and provides the best graphics quality. I don't care if it's 65 punds!

Been looking at NEC's FE2111SB-BK. Any opinions on these or others from all those users out there?

Thanks in advance!

Heh. Those threads cover the topic quite well. MaximumPC gave the NEC FE2111SB a 9 and an Editor's Choice Award.

Thats what I was wondering. You do see a lot of 22" owners complaining about poor 2d and its not the monitor thats at fault. I would go with a good 19" like the mitsubishi dp930.

Incorrect, a FireGL or Quadro card will do a better job than a consumer level 9800 Pro. They just don't have the power to drive a large analog monitor at super high resolutions without getting blurry.

Indeed sir, but I was thinking about consumer level cards. But you are technically correct. 😀
