I have been looking for the best allround 20 inch lcd. It should offer a good colour reproduction so that one can use it for DTP and webdesign. The ergonomics should be well so that one can work with it for some hours. Glare is therefore probably not the best solution. I also thought of a widescreen display. Playing games and watching movies should be enjoyable so it should have rather a short response time. The price should be in the range 300$-600$.
Which sort of panel would you prefer? I know that S-IPS is well but I also read good about the latest S-PVA and A-MVA panels. Is S-IPS still leading in viewing angles?
I have found the following displays:
-Dell 2007WFP, only the one with S-IPS. How is colour reproduction?
-Philips 200WP7ES with A-mva. Should have very good colour reproduction. How are angles and response time?
-Eizo S2031W with 8ms S-PVA. Not the latest and best S-PVA. Think there is an issue with gamut on this one!?
-Samsung 215TW. How is colour reproduction? Is there a lot of input lag?
If you have any other recommondations, please tell them.
