Best 2-D Card w/ DirX 9?

I'm building a new system for video editing, and I'd like to get a really good 2-D card that's Direct X 9 compatible. Any suggestions?
 
DX9 capable and compatible are different things, keep that in mind.
An only 2D card you want? I dont know...
But the best DX9 cards are Ati, and they have excellent 2D quality.
I also recommendo a Matrox G400 (not for gaming, and it´s a DX7 card, compatible with DX9.
