Best 19" Monitor Out There

What do you guys think is the best 19" monitor? I always thought View Sonic made the best monitors but their prices are too high for me.

Do not buy a NEC monitor - see this thread.

Edit: Incidentally, the monitor I am using now that my NEC has died (see above thread), is a Viewsonic. It's an A70f that I've had it for 2 years and it still works like a champ.

Don't believe every word you hear. I have the NEC MultiSync FE991SB and it works great. The only thing is that it's 50lbs, and I put a scratch in the monitor. DOH!

We had 21"er's in the office back in 1993 or so, I can't remember how much each was at the time although more than $2k each for sure.

Some moron decided to clean behind them or something stupid (I can't remember) so he moved them to a small desk as he did whatever and then back. Each one just about he ruined with his redneck belt buckle.

he was done there that afternoon.

I once put a small .1 x .1 mm chip in my 15" Mag ($350 at the time) when a spring loaded something or another flew and 'pinged' my screen...luckily it was not noticible but I hear sometimes later on chips can expand.

I agree...the Eizo Flexscan T766 is a VERY nice monitor, however the NEC FP912SB is AWESOME as well. Personally, I feel that the NEC FP912SB is the best 19" monitor out there right now. I know people feel the same way as me 🙂

Other than that, a popular monitor on these forums is the Viewsonic G90fb so i'm sure that one is pretty good as well. I enjoyed looking at the Samsung 957MB as well...however I don't think it is as much of a value as the FP912SB and PCWorld clearly feels the same way 😛

I'm telling the truth. I'm glad yours works fine, but that's still only 1/3 in my book.
