I'm looking for the best flat-screen CRT Monitor under $200. I've read good things about the NEC monitors (~$160 at newegg). Anyone care to comment on those or other monitors that fit this description?
NEC monitors are very reliable. I bought a refurb in 1995 and its still going strong. Their AP grille monitors though have the most prominent lines of the bunch though, and I think their monitors could be brighter (I have the 17-inch FE700+)
If desk space is not a concern why not put that money into a nice 19-inch Flat Shadow Mask monitor.
Samsung monitor are always at or near the top of comparison reviews. NEC is OK. NEC MS-77F is $130. AR at Staples this week and next.
