However, if you want the highest performing 80mm, look no further than Vantec Tornado 80mm at 13 bucks a piece plus shipping or Thermaltake Smart 80mm Fan at 8.49 a piece plus shipping.

Just don't forget to buy a fan controller while you at it because then you can turn it down when you don't want it that high all the time. They got a couple of nice ones over at SVC.com as well.

thats pretty good

If that's the case, then I would add a pair of high performing 80mm panaflos in the front (if you don't mind not having lights); DUCT your CPU using the side panel intake so your HSF gets direct fresh air then wire them parallel using two into one 3pin wires; get a seperate hard drive cooler such as COOLER MASTER LHD-V04-UK COOL DRIVE 4 - BLACK, a heavily discounted good HD cooler plus a 4-fan controller, and a panaflo 120mm fan. It's all up to you if you want to get 120x25s or 38s...just clear that bottom HD mounts for better airflow.

Running the retail HS and overclocking with poor air flow is not a good mix.

My quick and dirty fix.

Take the leap bushman and put a XP-90 with a 50cfm 92x25mm fan on it.

Using a fan addapter on your sidecover install a 92mm or 120mm fan. Just take good measurements. They do make 80 to 120 addapters 😀 Use a 50cfm 92mm fan or a 75cfm 120mm fan.

The lower optical will have to be moved up two bays. Put it over the short one.

Use a fan controller.....Done.

Good call, Galvanized!

I've had great luck with the Vantec Stealth Fans -
The 80, 92, and 120mm fans have all performed great.

Quiet, good air flow, and lifetime warranty.

If they die, I'll take them back to my friends business and get a new one.
None have died though 🙂 100% satisfaction.

Vantec fans are still crap even when undervolted. They're subject a very annoying clicking sounds coming not from the fan, but from the cheap quality motor of the fan. I'd rather have generic fans in my case.
