Best ~$100 IDE Drives for a RAID Array???

I bought two Maxtor 40 GB 7200rpm ATA/133 drives for $91 each (at computer show). They are connected to ACard 6880, which supports ATA/133 and is less expensive than the big name brands. All works fine.

The way i see it, you have two good choices:

Go with option A for a slight edge in speed, or option B if having a quiet PC is your thing
